Italian Fest honors Iran’s ‘The Truth of My Life’

Iranian short film ‘The Truth of My Life’ has won big at the Corti a Ponte Short Film Festival in Italy.

The 13th edition of the Italian event has awarded Bardia Hashemi’s 4-minute flick with a Special Mention of the Senior Jury 11-13 Years and a Special Mention of the Junior Jury 11-13 Years.

The flick tries to show the living conditions of the labor children.

It also sheds light over the prejudices of adults who hide their feelings under the mask of severity.

‘The Truth of My Life’ has so far attended a number of film events, including the Meet Film Festival in Italy.

The Corti a Ponte Short Film Festival is an international film event with an approach to film education for all ages and social groups.

This year’s edition of the event, which took place on May 4-11, recently announced its winners online over the COVID-19 pandemic.
